This Privacy Policy describes how Eye Expense (developed by Anzo Technology) collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our service:
- Personal Information (Google Sign-In): When you sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture to create your user profile and sync your data across devices.
- SMS Data (Android Only): If you grant permission, we access your SMS messages specifically to identify transaction alerts from banks. This is done locally on your device to automatically track your expenses. We do NOT read your personal messages.
- Device Information: We may collect your device ID and operating system information to manage app functionality and synchronization.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Eye Expense application.
- To automatically generate expense records from your transaction SMS messages (Android only).
- To synchronize your expense data securely across your devices using Firebase.
- To generate spending reports and insights for your personal use.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is securely stored using Google Firebase services. We implement security measures designed to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. You have full control over your data:
- Account Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data directly within the app. Go to Settings > Profile > Delete Account. This action is permanent and will remove your information from our servers.
5. Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
